Traditionally, the Bride is the star of the wedding day! However, the longer I do weddings, I am seeing a trend in making the groom feel just as special, and why not? It's his day too! I have put together a list of ideas to make the groom stand out on your wedding day and to highlight his role and make him feel special. Here are some creative ideas:

1. Distinct Attire:

   • Choose a different suit color or style for the groom compared to the groomsmen. The groom can wear a white jacket while the groomsmen wear the same color. 
   • Consider a unique tie, bow tie, or pocket square that sets him apart.

2. Boutonniere Distinction:

   • Give the groom a distinctive boutonniere that stands out from the groomsmen.
   • Use a special flower or additional elements to make it unique.

3. Special Accessories:

   • Consider unique accessories such as cufflinks, a tie clip, or a watch that sets the groom apart.
   • Personalized accessories with the wedding date or initials can add a special touch.

4. Contrasting Boutonniere or Corsage for Partner:

   • Coordinate with the bride's bouquet by incorporating a contrasting flower in the groom's boutonniere or by having a unique corsage for the bride.

   • Have the groom wear a custom monogram or special embroidery on his attire.
   • Consider a personalized label inside his suit jacket.
